Services Reservation System

Bookings that take themselves, and a floor you can actually see. Coming soon

Half your reservations arrive after closing, when nobody is there to answer the phone. The other half arrive during service, when nobody has a hand free. Both of them should land on a screen without anyone picking up.

The floor

Running service, not a spreadsheet

The dashboard your host stands in front of on a Thursday night.

A floor plan you build yourself Soon

Drag tables into place, set shapes and seat counts, upload a photograph of your actual floor as the background. Add a second room, a terrace, a majlis — each with its own layout.

  • Drag, drop, resize
  • Several rooms per branch
  • Live table capacity totals

Six ways to look at the same night Soon

Floor plan when you are seating. Timeline when you are planning. Cover flow to see the pressure per fifteen minutes. Grid, list and table turns for everything else.

  • Floor, grid, timeline
  • Cover flow and table turns
  • Plain list for printing

The status of every table at a glance Soon

Coming, seated, in service, completed. Tap a table for its next booking, seat a walk-in against it, or block it entirely when a leg breaks.

  • Colour-coded by status
  • Block a table out of service
  • Upcoming bookings per table

Waitlist and walk-ins Soon

A Friday queue at the door is a waitlist, not chaos. Add the party, quote a wait, and seat them from the same screen when a table turns.

  • Quoted wait times
  • Convert waitlist to seated
  • Walk-ins counted in covers

Shifts that match how you work Soon

Lunch and dinner have different tables, different lengths and different capacity. Filter the whole night down to one shift and the noise disappears.

  • Separate lunch and dinner
  • Per-shift capacity
  • Booking duration per party size

The counters that matter, live Soon

Total covers, still to arrive, seated, finished, walk-ins. Along the bottom of the screen, updating as service runs.

  • Live cover counts
  • Compare against last week

In practice

What a Thursday night looks like

The pressure is visible before it arrives

Cover flow shows you the night in fifteen-minute columns. Twenty-two covers landing at eight fifteen is a kitchen problem you can see at four in the afternoon, while there is still time to move two bookings and warn the chef.

  • Covers per fifteen minutes, all night
  • Spot the pile-up before it happens
  • Slots close themselves when full
  • Walk-in capacity held back deliberately
7:45 Covers booked 6
8:00 Covers booked 14
8:15 Covers booked 22
8:30 Slot status Full

Nobody asks the guest to repeat themselves

The booking arrives with the history attached. Fourteenth visit, always takes the corner table, no coriander, and it is probably her birthday because it was this week last year. Your host greets her by name and gets it right without being told.

  • History and preferences on the booking card
  • Tags for regulars, first visits and occasions
  • Notes shared between floor and kitchen
  • Nothing typed twice between visits
GUEST Sarah A. 14 visits
TAG Possible birthday flagged
PREF Terrace, corner saved
KITCHEN No coriander sent

The no-shows get cheaper

A confirmation the moment they book and a reminder the day before, with a cancel link in it. The guests who were never coming cancel themselves the day before instead of leaving a table empty at nine.

  • Automatic confirmation and reminder
  • One-tap cancel returns the table to stock
  • Freed slots reopen for other guests
  • Card hold available for large parties
SENT Confirmation instant
SENT Reminder 24h before
BACK Cancelled in time table freed
SLOT 8:30 reopened bookable

The guest

Who is walking through the door

Everything the floor should already know before the guest reaches the host stand.

A profile that remembers Soon

Every booking builds the guest record. Visit count, spend, what they ordered last time, which table they asked for.

  • Visit and spend history
  • Merge duplicate guests
  • Import an existing list

Tags that flag what matters Soon

First visit. VIP. Possible birthday. Allergy. The host sees them on the booking card before the guest is through the door.

  • Guest tags and booking tags
  • Your own tags, your own words

Preferences that carry over Soon

Dining area or terrace. Away from the door. High chair needed. Written once, and there on every future booking without anyone asking again.

  • Seating and area preferences
  • Dietary notes to the kitchen

Notes the team can actually see Soon

A note on the booking for the kitchen, a note on the guest for next time, and a message thread between staff on the reservation itself.

  • Internal team notes per booking
  • Special requests to the kitchen

The booking

How guests reach you

A booking page in both languages

Guests pick a date, a party size and a time, in Arabic or English, from a phone, at any hour.

  • Full Arabic with right-to-left layout
  • Works without an account

Capacity the system enforces

You set covers per slot. When a slot fills it closes itself. Two parties cannot take the last table, however close together they tap.

  • Covers-per-slot limits
  • Atomic checks, no double-booking
  • Minimum notice before a slot

Confirm now or approve later

Small parties confirm themselves. Large ones can hold as pending until someone has looked at them.

  • Automatic or manual confirmation
  • Large parties told to call

Confirmations and reminders Soon

A confirmation the moment they book and a reminder the day before, on WhatsApp or SMS. Fewer empty tables held for people who forgot.

  • Booking confirmation and reminder
  • Guests cancel from the message

Questions

About reservations

The guest-facing booking form, capacity enforcement, confirmations and the reservation list all work now — the booking page on this site is the real thing, not a mock-up. The floor plan, the service views and guest profiles are what is still in build.

Yes, and you should. Staff enter phone bookings into the same screen, so the floor plan reflects every booking regardless of how it arrived.

Availability is checked and the seat taken in a single atomic step, so two people tapping confirm at the same instant cannot both succeed. One gets the table, the other is shown the next slot.

No. A name, a phone number and a party size is all it takes. Guests who want to change or cancel later get a link that does it without a password.

Set a maximum party size for online bookings — anything above it is asked to call instead, so a booking for thirty never lands unnoticed on a normal Tuesday.
