We built this because we needed it.

The first version of Zideira was an internal tool. A menu that could be changed without calling a designer, a QR code on the tables, and orders that arrived on a phone instead of on a shouted instruction across a counter. It was rough, but it worked, and the printing bill disappeared.

Other operators started asking for it. That's when it became a product.

What we're actually trying to fix

Restaurants in this region are squeezed from two directions. Rent and staff costs keep climbing, and the delivery apps that bring in orders take a fifth of each one. A shop can be busy every night and still not be making money.

Zideira doesn't solve rent. What it does is give you a channel you own — your menu, your guests, your data, your prices — that costs the same flat amount whether you sell ten orders this month or ten thousand. We never take a percentage of an order. That's not an introductory offer, it's the business model.

The principles we build against

• The guest shouldn't have to install anything. If it needs an app download, it has already failed.
• Arabic isn't an add-on. Right-to-left is built into the layout, not bolted on with a translation plugin.
• It has to work on a bad connection. Menus load fast and stay light, because basement signal is real.
• Your data is yours. Export it whenever. Leave whenever. We'll delete our copy if you ask.
• No feature hostage-taking. If something is genuinely useful for running a shop, it's on the paid plans — not held back for a higher tier.

Where we are

Zideira is based in Kuwait and built for this market first: Kuwaiti dinar with three decimals, the six governorates and their areas already loaded, KNET as a first-class payment method, and Arabic that reads properly. It works anywhere, but it was designed here.

How we work with the people who use it

If you email us about something broken, someone who understands the product answers, usually the same day. If you ask for a feature and it makes sense for more than one shop, it tends to get built. A good part of what's in Zideira today came from an operator saying "why can't it just…".
